Ok, so this is pretty lame, but I did it in class because my boredom was too great.

The scanner was too small for the drawings so some stuff is cut off, the scanner ain’t dealing with my constant crap :’) in the corner at the first scene it says Tom’s pijamas, no dirty thoughts, but simply because Loki is the God and he was cold and he demanded Tom to give him something warm and comfortable. 

I obviously don’t know about anyone’s music taste, but I love Muse and I remember listening to Survival in the Olympics and thinking: “This is something Loki would sing in the shower.” (a comic about that SHOULD EXIST) Plus, I know I’m pretty late with this, Olympics was a time ago now but still a comic like this should exist. Tip: Check out the song Survival so you may understand better why it just fits Loki :’)

I made this post to point out the Doctor Who homage in the opening and closing ceremony.

The first image is the orchestra at the beginning of the Opening Ceremony if you notice the colourful converse they were chosen because of David Tennant’s regeneration.

The same regeneration goes for the next image, apparently every audience member was given a pair of retro 3D glasses just like The Doctor had at the Battle of Canary Wharf.

And the third image is from the closing ceremony where the Olympic Game Makers were dressed smartly and similarly to the TARDIS itself, dark blue with a black band on the bowler hat and a light bulb on top it seems highly unlikely to be a coincidence.

And of course not forgetting the few seconds of TARDIS noise playing during the dancing scene I feel there were a few moments of homage to Doctor Who’s contribution to British Media as a whole.

For once I wasn’t imagining things. :D
